Stretching w Tara Stiles

I worked out this week and I was really sore after my ab workout. I dont workout whole lot here, because the food is leaner and I walk everywhere, but I am actually looking for a futbol field to workout on, or someone to teach me how to play so I can get that killer beach body I've always wanted... but in the mean time I going to settle for walking or running on the main (non-crowded) streets.

But here is a stretch video from Tara Stiles, that will get you to feeling like new again!!

Rasta is the FUTURE...

There is a big Rasta influence here in Argentina... there are so many ppl w dreadlocks, and practically everyone here smokes weed. There are a few reggae clubs that play really good reggae music... Uni Club on Friday Nite, is one!

The only this that pizzles me, is that they dont have any rice and beans here! SMH.

But Greggory Isaacs is comming here soon, and Dread Mar I. They are both reggae artists and will be playing at Niceto Club in November... so if you are in Br, Ar, get your tickets!! There is another reggae artist by the name of S.O.J.A. that will be playing at Niceto Club in November too... I dont know much about them, but my friend from Serbia said they are really good! So I'll take his word for it! Enjoy!

Titanic Ice Cubes!!?!

When I came across the Gin and Titonic ice cube tray, I was reminded of this Berlitz ad, which is one of the funnier things the internet has provided. Now that it's so cold outside, you don't even need a freezer to make sinking objects of your own, but the use of these ice trays will certainly increase the fun. -via

A Canadian Thanksgiving...

I had no idea Canada's Thanksgiving day was October 12th! ... Have you ever tried to make sweet potato pie in a foreign country? lol. Well I did... and it was good!! ... Sweet potato pie, dulce de leche cake, a home cooked meal, and 4...5, 6 bottles of wine!! Oh, we CELEBRATED!! "Thanks for giving!" lol

I made the sweet potato pie...

Apparently they thought it was pretty good!! lol

And now to get the holiday picture juuuust rite....

Okay here it is!!

Its hard being a vegetarian in Buenos Aires...

So why bother, but staying in shape is harder that you can imagine here. Portenos don't eat much for breakfast and they cook Beef, everyday! For some reason fish isn't recommended, and I love catfish and Salmon...
So I have to search the internet for things that work for me!!! Enjoy!

President Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize!!

OSLO — President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday in a stunning decision designed to encourage his initiatives to reduce nuclear arms, ease tensions with the Muslim world and stress diplomacy and cooperation rather than unilateralism.

Nobel observers were shocked by the unexpected choice so early in the Obama presidency, which began less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Obama woke up to the news a little before 6 a.m. EDT. The White House had no immediate comment on the announcement, which took the administration by surprise.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee decided not to inform Obama before the announcement because it didn't want to wake him up, committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland said.

"Waking up a president in the middle of the night, this isn't really something you do," Jagland said.

The Nobel Committee lauded the change in global mood wrought by Obama's calls for peace and cooperation but recognized initiatives that have yet to bear fruit: reducing the world stock of nuclear arms, easing American conflicts with Muslim nations and strengthening the U.S. role in combating climate change.

"Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future," Jagland said.

Obama's election and foreign policy moves caused a dramatic improvement in the image of the U.S. around the world. A 25-nation poll of 27,000 people released in July by the Pew Global Attitudes Project found double-digit boosts to the percentage of people viewing the U.S. favorably in countries around the world. That indicator had plunged across the world under President George W. Bush.

Still, the U.S. remains at war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the U.S. Congress has yet to pass a law reducing carbon emissions and there has been little significant reduction in global nuclear stockpiles since Obama took office.

In his 1895 will, Alfred Nobel stipulated that the peace prize should go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses."

The committee has taken a wide interpretation of Nobel's guidelines, expanding the prize beyond peace mediation to include efforts to combat poverty, disease and climate change.

So my friend(American) told me about this website and basically they organize trips to foreign lands, such as Italy and Brazil, with all black women. I dont know if it is only for black women. I doubt it, but it is definitely only for women!

I think it is a great idea because black people travel alot more than people know, and its a great way to meet new people and as your moving on in your career and you cant skip the country for years at a time and party, BUT 2 weeks should suit your taste just fine!

Plus its always good to leave the men behind and hang out w your girls!!
