How to do a sew in weave...

Okay, I know... this is very urban, BUT damnit this is what we have to go thru to look fly!! First braid, then sew; $20 or better / pack or hair (for that Saturday nite $150+ / pack). So think of all the money you save when you do it your self!!

This video is only 8 minutes long, but trust me it took her at least 3 hours to braid all of that.
THAT is why black women are always ducking and become hostile when people try to touch our hair...
1. We dont want you to know whats under there
2. our head is probably throbbing and
3. we dont need you trying to put your fingers thru our hair cause if you break a track, we WILL be fighting...

So do your self a favor, and just look from afar!! lol

Afro-Punk Festival - NYC and maybe Chicago?!

Yes, yes... another funky, bring your own style and prepare to get rained on event in NYC. The Afro-Punk Festival is June 26th - 27th in BK but apparently they are coming to Chicago too!! Which I will be excited about, (as soon as they release the dates), will be the first one in line. Janelle Monae stole the show last year, done messed up her hair and everything!!
