CHRIS Brown (above) was supposed to make his return to the stage last weekend at the BET Awards at LA's Shrine Auditorium, but Jay-Z pulled the plug on the plans. Brown -- who's been low-key since beating up his ex-girlfriend (and Jay-Z's artist), Rihanna, earlier this year -- was supposed to take part in a Michael Jackson tribute. But a source said, "Jay-Z wasn't having it. He threatened to pull out of the show if Chris was involved, so BET dropped Chris." A rep for Brown said, "That's not true -- he was never confirmed to perform." Brown was close to Jackson and performed "Thriller" at the World Music Awards in 2006.

>>WELL NOW I try to keep my opinions to myself on stuff like this, cause i dont think what he did was rite. And there is no way in the world to justify putting your hands on a woman, much less your fists to Rhianna skinny little tail. HOWEVER, I will say, he has been humiliated in public, fired from his job (litterally), stripped of lucrative endorsements, all at the age of 19.. 20? He went to court, the judge is going to give him a sentence in addition to the public scrutiny he is enduring.
Jay-Z, Hova, Jigga MAN.. WHATEVER. STOP HATING on the boy. He aint even old enough to drink. How must punnishment does he need for him to learn his lesson? He hasnt been making money for the last 6 months.... And as quiet as its kept, that D.O.A. song is SO-SO. I LIKE T-PAIN. Auto-tune is FINE with ME. Beyonce's performance was WACK and WTF was she wearing???
Look, I know im not supposed to take a woman abuser's side. But Jay, you need to stay out of it. And Rhianna should have told you that. But since she wont... I WILL.
There is NO ONE that can do what Chris Brown can do as far as a Michael Jackson Tribute. This aint about YOU HOVA! And I dont think personal vendettas should be in this Celibration of MJ. But apparently you do!!
