Dope Couture presents their second Hip-Hop artist collaboration tee and this time they’ve commissioned Chicago artist Naledge. The artwork features a cubist-style portrait of Naledge inspired by Picasso’s piece ‘Seated Woman with Wrist Watch’. The quote on the back is from Picasso’s lettres françaises translating as “Art is an offensive weapon in the defense against the enemy.”Dope will be at the Chicago Picasso release party tonight at The Legroom 7 West Division, Downtown Chicago. It’s free all night. Dress your best: no hats, no sneakers. Shirts will be available for purchase at the release party (and online starting today). I’m definitely feeling this tee. Shouts to Matt.
